Providing safe blood to patients

Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho has said that it is our basic duty to provide safe blood to the patients in order to safeguard their lives with keeping vigilance on blood banks as well.

This she said while witnessing a signing ceremony of Concession Agreement between Sindh Health Department and FATIMID Foundation for Regional Blood Karachi under Public-Private Partnership Mode here at her office on Wednesday. 

Secretary Health Sindh Saeed Ahmed Awan and Dr. Waleed Bin Izhar Chief Operating Officer FATIMID Foundation signed on the Concession Agreement. On this occasion General (R) Moin Haider Chairman FATIMID Foundation and Director PPP Mode Dadlo Zuhrani were also present.

While speaking on the occasion Sindh Minister for Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Pechuho asked all the blood banks across the province to provide safe blood to the patients and if any one violated the standard operating procedure in this regard would be taken to task. 

She asked the authority concerned to keep a vigilant eye on the working of blood banks and ensure supply of safe blood to the patients.
