Secretary Health inaugurates first Telemedicine Center at Sindh Government Children's Hospital

Karachi: Dr. Fazlullah Pechuho, Secretary Health inaugurates the first Telemedicine Center at Sindh Government Children Hospital in the metropolis' New Karachi.

Speaking to the media, Dr. Pechuho said that we (Sindh Government) is providing such technologies to other healthcare facilities of the department, adding that a pediatric consultant round the clock will be available for the needy patients at the Telemedicine Center.

The Secretary Health said that the monitoring and evaluation of NGOs is ongoing and those organizations who are not implementing SOPs will face fines and the government reserves the right to discontinue their contracts.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Asif Zaman, the medical superintendant of Sindh Government Children Hospital said that our prime responsibility is to provide quality healthcare to our patients and thet's why with the collaboration of the Child Life Foundation we are starting this Pediatric Telemedicine Clinic.
